Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking A Giant Surprise while Matthew is drinking a What a Thyme. Recipes below.

A Giant Surprise

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 1/4 oz Curacao
  • 1/4 oz Raspberry Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Mango Juice
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with mango cubes, fresh raspberries or a lemon twist.

What a Thyme

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 3/4 oz Thyme Simple Syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
  • 2 Dashes orange bitters
  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or thyme strand.
