Wait, Bob Melvin is interviewing with the Giants? This ponderous situation calls for cocktails. Ben is drinking his Bitter Blood Curse while thinking things through. Matthew is drinking his Highland Harvest while declaring that the search is over.

On the baseball side of things they discuss the Bob Melvin situation. Is this a fait accompli? Is Melvin past his prime? Could the Padres be any more Padre?

Then they ask the question, if the Giants only sign Yoshinobu Yamamoto, will the off season be successful? If not, what about throwing in Lee Jung-hoo? What will it take for the fans to call the off season successful?

All that and the usual hijinks. Let's drink!
