Orange and Black Bitters

Rob Roy
- 2 oz Scotch (Blended Malt is traditional)
- 3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Brandied cherry for garnish
Add scotch, vermouth and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a brandied cherry on a cocktail pick.
Apple Cinnamon Old Fashioned
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1/2 - 3/4 oz Apple Cinnamon Demerara Syrup
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- 3 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube. Express orange peel oils over drink and drop in glsss with a cocktail cherry.
- To make syrup: Over medium heat combine 1 cup brown sugar with 1/2 cup water in a large saucepan. Stir until combined. Add 2 chopped apples and 2-3 cinnamon sticks and reduce heat to a simmer. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes and then remove from heat and let cool. Strain out solids and store in a airtight container.
