On the cocktail side of things Matthew is drinking an Herbal Hot Toddy while Ben is drinking a Venus Gin #2 Old Fashioned. Recipes below.

Herbal Hot Toddy

  • 4-5 oz Hot Camomile Tea
  • 1 1/2 oz Cognac or Brandy
  • 1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1 heaping teaspoon Honey
  • Steep camomile tea in a mug for a few minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined.

Venus Gin #2 Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz Venus Gin #2
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • Lemon Twist
  • Combine gin, simple syrup and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 15-20 seconds. Strain into a Old Fashioned glass with a large chunk of ice. Express oils from lemon twist over the cocktail and discard. Garnish with 3 brandy soaked cherries.
