The injury troll has arrived. The boys discuss the injuries to Jung Hoo Lee and Jerar Encarnacion and how the Giants will cover the open roster spot. They also review a busy week including some big roster decisions, more money in the Giants pocket and maybe yours. Finally they say goodbye to season 4 of Giant Cocktails and tease season 5.

Speaking of cocktails, today Matthew is drinking a Daiquiri while Ben is drinking a Spring Charade. Recipes below.

Daiquiri

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
  • Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Spring Charade

  • 1 oz Joven Mezcal
  • 1/2 oz Cognac/Brandy
  • 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur
  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Double strain into a Nick & Nora glass and garnish with a candied orange peel.
