Youth Taketh, Youth Giveth

Wow. So those were a couple of games. The brothers break down the start of the Pirates series, reminding us that youth is a double edged sword. On the Cocktail Side of things Ben is drinking another Hot Toddy, but this one is different. Meanwhile Matthew is drinking a Vanilla Old Fashioned because of course he is.

Hot Toddy #2

• 1 1/2 oz Plantation Stiggin’s Fancy Pineapple Dark Rum
• 6 oz Earl Gray
• 3/4 Lemon Oleo Sacrum Syrup
• 1 Cinnamon Stick
• 5 cloves

Pour hot tea into a mug. Add rum and oleo sacrum syrup. Add cinnamon stick and cloves.

Vanilla Old Fashioned

• 2 oz Bourbon
• 1/4 oz Amaro Nonino
• 1/2 oz Vanilla Demerara Gomme Syrup
• 1 bar spoon full of Luxardo Cherry Syrup
• 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
• 1 Dash Orange Bitters

Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass with a large cube of ice. Garnish with
