Zen and the Missing Blood Orange

Radiant Dawn

  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Curacao
  • 2 oz Orange Juice (preferably Blood Orange)
  • 2-4 Jalapeno Coins (plus 2 for garnish)
  • 3/4 oz of Ginger Syrup

Muddle the jalapeno coins in an empty shaker with the ginger syrup. Add the vodka, curacao, orange juice. Shake with ice until chilled. Double strain over a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange wheel, jalapeno coins and candied ginger.

Zen Rum-ble

  • 1 1/2 oz Light Rum
  • 1/2 oz Ginger Liqueur
  • 1/2 - 3/4 oz Green Tea Syrup
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a fresh or dehydrated lime wheel.
