RIP 2024 Giants

It's not over. But it's over. Our sad dads discuss the Giants < 3% chance of making the playoffs, how the Giants should handle certain players from here, and which Giants still have a lot of play for. Then they just talk baseball including the return of Camilo Doval, whether Fitzgerald and Ramos have fully established themselves, and what the outfield of the Giants might look like next year.

On the cocktail side of things Matthew is drinking a Sunny Day while Ben is drinking a Hank's Coupe. Recipes below.

Sunny Day

  • 2 oz London Dry Gin
  • 3/4 oz chamomile-lavender syrup
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 2 dashes lavender bitters
  • Lemon wheel for garnish (the sun)

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-15 seconds until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel on the rim of the glass.

Hank's Coupe

  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz Pimm’s No. 1
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with something appropriate.
