Young Players Called Up. Will They Play?

It's the good, bad and the ugly today. First our cowboys announce that their new podcast is launching imminently. Then they review the recent good performances of Mason Black and Tristan Beck and the bad look of the haphazard call ups of Marco Luciano and Luis Matos.

Things get ugly in the lighting round when Ben gives acting advice, Matthew doesn't want to start over, and we all get lost in the desert.

On the cocktail side of things Ben is drinking a Jungle Bungle while Matthew is drinking a Without Faculty. Recipes below.

Jungle Bungle

  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz Demerara Rum
  • 1 oz Banana Liqueur

Combine mezcal, rum and banana liqueur in a mixing glass with ice. Stir to desired dilution. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a banana slice, two cherries, three guavas, and a pineapple.

Without Faculty

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Banana Liqueur
  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Ginger Liqueur
  • 3 drops Tiki Bitters

Combine all ingredients except the bitters in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 12-15 seconds. Strain into a ice-filled rocks glass and top with bitters and a banana slice.
